'The Rest Is Politics' Podcast Co-Host Alastair Campbell Announces Australian Tour 2026

An Evening With Alastair Campbell hits Australia in November.

The Rest Is Politics podcast co-host, political strategist and bestselling author Alastair Campbell has announced a national speaking tour of Australia this November.

Widely revered in the modern political landscape, few are as well informed as Campbell, who will be taking to the stage for a series of in-conversation events across the country. Attendees can expect a mix of Campbell's trademark candour and wit as he discusses the current global political climate.

Campbell's speaking tour begins in Adelaide at Festival Theatre on Wednesday 18 November, followed by dates in Sydney at the State Theatre on Thursday 19 November, Brisbane's QPAC Concert Hall on Friday 20 November and Melbourne's Recital Centre on Sunday 22 November, with the final show in Canberra at Canberra Theatre Centre on Monday 23 November.

Pre-sale begins at 11am AEST Wednesday 29 July, followed by general sale at 11m Friday 30 July. Ticketing information is available at fane.com.au.

For close to 30 years, Alastair Campbell has been at the heart of UK politics, working alongside former PM Tony Blair and steering the UK government's message through the Good Friday Agreement, the Kosovo conflict and the Iraq war.

Campbell has published close to 20 books about his time in politics and appeared on several British TV shows.

Having witnessed how government works from the inside and observed how the culture wars are dominating the press, Campbell has plenty of informative takes he'll be discussing during his tour.
