UK Comic Alan Davies Makes His Australian Return with Brand New Show ‘Think Ahead’

Prepare to be rolling in the aisles when Alan Davies performs at Thebby Theatre in November.

British funnyman Alan Davies makes his Australian return this November and December with new show Think Ahead.

The comedian, actor, writer and TV personality is touring for the first time in over a decade and has squared away 12 shows across the country, including a stop in Adelaide at the newly refurbished Thebarton Theatre on Thursday, November 27.

Beginning his Think Ahead tour in Perth at Riverside Theatre on Tuesday, November 25, Davies hits a range of cities and towns including Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart, Toowoomba, and Caloundra, before wrapping things up at Sydney’s State Theatre on Saturday, December 13.

Best known for his lead role in the BBC mystery drama series Jonathan Creek and as the longest-serving panel member of QI, Davies is something of a national treasure in the UK.

His talk show, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, is now in its seventh season, while the third instalment in his series of memoirs is due to be published later this year.

Davies’ hit stand-up show Urban Trauma ran in London’s West End and Life is Pain and Little Victories sold out in venues across Australia and the UK.
