Adelaide Arcade Spotlights Local Businesses As Part of Buy SA Week

The special event takes place this Saturday 2 August, throughout Adelaide Arcade.
Brand SA’s Buy SA Week hits the city this week, with Adelaide Arcade holding a special one-day event spotlighting local businesses.
Held this Saturday 2 August, the event coincides with the building’s 140th anniversary celebrations and will include a variety of events held in stores throughout Adelaide Arcade, highlighting some of SA’s best creatives.
“Every corner of Adelaide Arcade will have something for shoppers to take part in,” says Adelaide Arcade General Manager, Andrew Jonats. “With more than 90% of the arcade’s traders being South Australian owned, we’re proud to showcase local talent, design and products with this special event.”
There’s a stack of events taking place on the day, with shoppers able to catch a free wheel-throwing demo with Just Pottery, experience dry needling with Kutumba, or get a henna tattoo with Fizzbubble Art.
Bella Mia and Hooked Studio will host a free “come and try” crochet session, while local artisans Henry Eckert Australia and Terry Gasson Tailor will display their wares for passersby.
