Sandra Bernhard Announces Australian & New Zealand Tour 2026
The tour marks Sandra Bernhard’s first Australian and New Zealand shows in over a decade.

American comic, actress, singer, author and all-around performer Sandra Bernhard has announced her first tour of Australia and New Zealand in over a decade.
Sandyland: An Evening with Sandra Bernhard sees the OG American comedy queen taking to stages across the country in March 2026, with the star of the Emmy-nominated Apple TV+ series Severance excited to perform for her adoring fans.
“Australia is grit and glamour for me, a jewel floating in the sea, a dream that merges sharp edges and beautiful breezes,” Bernhard says. “From the epic flight to the rocky beaches, its multicultural landscape, delicious cuisine and beautiful people, you can be sure that when I strut onto those stages, I’ll be ready to give everything. I assure you I will.”
Bernhard’s tour commences in Brisbane at The Fortitude Music Hall on Wednesday 18 March and continues with dates at Thirroul’s Anita’s Theatre on Friday 20 March, Sydney’s State Theatre on Saturday 21 March, Melbourne’s Hamer Hall on Tuesday 24 March, Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on Wednesday 25 March and Perth’s Riverside Theatre on Friday 27 March, with the tour wrapping up in New Zealand at Auckland’s Bruce Mason Centre on Monday 30 March.

Across five decades, Sandra Bernhard has established herself as one of America’s most beloved comedy stars. Rising to fame in the ‘70s with her witty stand-up routines, Bernhard became a force in the American comedy scene, with her one-woman show, which involved everything from comedy to cabaret, taking her all over the world.
Along with being a cherished stand-up, Bernhard is a well-known actress, having starred in dozens of movies and TV shows, including The King of Comedy, Track 29, Hudson Hawk, American Horror Story, The Sopranos, Broad City and Rosanne.
Bernhard has also released several albums and books and is currently hosting her tenth year of her weekly radio show Sandyland on SiriusXM, for which she won a broadcasting Gracie Award.
